I have quickly found out that my new car isn't my new car at all!  Zach has confiscated it for his own.  He won't agree to a part-time deal either.  Divorcees get better deals than this!

Grothaus history tests scare me!!

Yea for plum creek - it was great!

I'm getting really nervous about tomorrow's author talks.  I know I'd have fun if I did this stuff, I just hope I'm not a total flop with the kids.  Geez.  I'm getting so old!  I'm like...21!  WHOA!  Okay, so not that old, but there's a big difference between 21 and 12 (and if you just did the math smarty pants you found out the different is 9!).  However, I will be dealing with children of an even bigger difference...grades K all the way through 4. Glad I have good ole Kate as my partner!  ;)  THANKS KATIE!

Wanna hear something funny??  Jaime still needs me!!  Okay, that's not the funny part...don't laugh yet.  The funny part is she called me to help her study for her doc test...I'm in NE and she's in CA!  Crazy girl!  Poor thing, really.  I feel bad for her.  Glad I could help, girl!  You know I'd do it any time.

Okay, now for the MONSTER BIG NEWS...wait, I think I'll keep that until after my two other big news thingies.

Most of you probably already know that I have a new job.  Woo Hoo!  I will be working at the Little Leaps of Faith Child Development Center in Milford.  This is very exciting.  And I've already met many of the kiddos...they're just so cute!

Okay, that was big news, this is BIGGER news.  I have a new cell phone.  This is not something to get very excited about.  I hate this dumb phone.  The numbers are too tiny, the menu confuses me, it has gay ring tones, it doesn't ring loud enough, anyway, I'm just grr about this whole thing right now. But, good news is, it's a local Seward number...you can call me from the dorm!  How about that!  I guess now you want the number...okay...402-641-5292.  (by the way, I just did a little woo hoo because I typed that without looking at my number and I typed it correctly!)

okay, now for what you've all been waiting for...the MONSTER BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!

I have a car!  I have a car!! I have a car!!!  It's a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta, black, sun roof, power locks, cd player...it's oh so cute!  Zach's head almost hits the ceiling...it's kinda funny.  He ducked when we closed the sunroof!  Hee hee...as of right now, he's the primary drive because it's supposed to get better gas mileage than his beast.  I bet he might not even last a week...he'll probably feel like a sardine...then I get it all to myself.  I HOPE...let's all pray...maybe we can persuade God...okay, sorry, reference to a class that none of you are in...

One more thing...today is my mommy's birthday!  yea!!!!!!!

It's been awhile since I wrote - and I was complaining that my Jaime-ster was taking her time writing!

I had a fabulous weekend (which has been almost a week ago).  I love playing hostess.  I had the girls over for a make-shift tailgating party.  Really we just ate and ate and ate and watched football.  Then we played games, and more games.  We laughed, ALOT, we screamed...I gave myself a 3rd degree burn on my hand...aah...what fun!

Tonight is my last night of this online training stuff for my job.  I am losing heart - I want to quit and I haven't really begun.  This whole thing intimidates me and it worries me.  I need to talk this out with the lady who hired me.  fifteen dollars an hour is great...but is it worth it?

I miss my grandpa.  I need to call him.  I have pictures from the wedding to send to him.  He might even cry when he sees the pictures.  I've never seen him cry...but he cried on my wedding day.  I had never seen my dad cry either.  He has not gotten very emotional about me before.  Prom, no big deal, graduation, no big deal, college, no big deal...wedding...he turned into a baby!  Course, I was balling too...we were a soggy, snivelling mess!  But it was wonderful.  To be honest, I was surprised Zach didn't cry.  He got as close as I think anyone can get without crying.  I saw all of those tears in his eyes that he somehow managed to hold in.  Oh goodness, I better stop.

Everyone - have a great weekend!!

That was weird - Julie Johnston just called my cell phone.  You know, now that I'm not in her class - I'm liking her more.  I still don't like everything she does and says but eh, I guess I can give the woman a second chance!

I have really missed this Xanga deal!  I didn't realize how much I missed it until I started posting comments on some other sites.

Totally stoked...wanna know why?  Well, we just got the DVD back from the photographers today with all of our millions of wedding pictures.  Now is the fun, and hard, part of picking out up to 160 pics for our album!  GEEZ LOUISE!  You think that's alot - they took about 1,000 pics!!!  YEESH...well anyway.

I'm getting really tired of freezing in my classrooms, just as a side note.  It could be a million trillion degrees outside and the classrooms would still be so cold I couldn't wear shorts.  WHICH MEANS - I nearly die from heat exhaustion on my way to school and while I'm at school I'm doing kenistetics (totally butchered the spelling) to keep from freezing to death!!  I CAN'T WIN!!!

I made a spider web today out of pipe cleaners.  Then I wrote an adjective in it describing myself...so it's a cute little green spider web with the word "fun" in the middle.  I picked "fun" because it is a short word - easy to spell!!  You should all make pipe cleaner spider webs for halloween - they look great!

I guess I'll go now.  BUT, before I do - all you crazy folks who read these things should consider coming to the Habitat for Humanity meeting on Monday night at 10pm (maybe 10:05 because CSI just gets over at 10).  Anyway - it's in the lower level of the JCC.  :)

Aaah!  Crazy crazy life!

So, I DID get married, things went as well as can be expected.  When you plan an event such as a wedding you MUST be prepared for things to go wrong.  And they did...but nothing that stopped us from getting married.

We went to Jamaica on our honeymoon.  We highly recommend Jamaica - be sure you go "all inclusive" though.  It's great to be treated like you're filthy rich!  (except people were nice to us!)

Here's the website if you want to see our wedding pictures and you haven't yet:

www.collages.net    event: Schnare wed  password:  5417

I also have bridal portraits on their if you want to see same password but event name is: Otten bridal  AND we have engagement pics if you just can't get enough of us!  lol  well, that event name is: Schnare eng and again, the same password.

I need to go, I think the hubby is home and it's lunch time!  mmm...I have a grumbly in my tumbly.
